The Community Health and Resource Model in Texas is using CommunityViz to bring planning information and decision-making to the public. The initiative is an ecolving effort to use technology to democratize decisions and show residents how development will affect things like water use, transportation and the environment. CHARM may ultimately be available on the Internet and is a compilation of three software programs (one of which is CommunityViz), a Nintendo Wii console, a light pen, and projector and a laptop.
