The City of Golden, the Orton Family Foundation and a host of community groups have captured a Local Government Award from the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) for the Golden Vision 2030: Our Town, Our Future project. The award was presented to Golden Planning and Development Director Steve Glueck and Orton Family Foundation Senior Associate Alece H.M. Otero at the regional council’s 2010 Awards of Excellence Dinner, held April 28 at the Infinity Park Event Center in Glendale.
