The Teton Valley Community School and Section Eight Design competed with more than 1000 teams to win Architecture for Humanity’s Open Architecture Challenge, a competition inviting the architecture, design and engineering community to collaborate directly with students and teachers to rethink the classroom of the future. Collaboration was not just encouraged but required: design teams had to engage community members and other beneficiaries of the classroom in the process.
