Starksboro has taken a different approach to planning. Buoyed by $25,000 from the Orton Family Foundation, help from the Vermont Land Trust and many volunteers, the town used the arts to draw residents into the conversation about Starksboro’s future. Participants call the experiment a rousing success and are celebrating the ongoing project with events the first weekend in November.
