Milestones

2008

2009

  • Project partners hired a Project Coordinator in January.
  • Envision Victor held a public transportation planning meeting and a storytelling workshop in April.
  • In October, Envision Victor hired a Story Fellow to lead storytelling efforts and community conversations. The Fellow was immediately successful in producing a standing-room-only storytelling event at Pierre's Playhouse.
  • Amidst freezing December temperatures, Envision Victor held Wave Day, an effort to reinstate the "Victor Wave", a friendly gesture between passing drivers.

2010

  • In January, a Values of Victor event was held to help inform and prepare the community for the next stages of the project.
  • Envision Victor, the City of Victor, the Teton Valley Economic Development Council, and several local business owners created the Victor Community Partnership, with the goal of fueling excitement and engagement in the future of Victor.
  • In early April, Envision Victor made notable progress with two values workshops, in which the community got to the heart of the values that describe Victor.
