RFP: Submission Requirements

Proposals must be submitted electronically as a single PDF no later than midnight, Wednesday, July 20, 2011 to: Lorraine Titus at rfp@orton.org.

Late submissions will not be considered.

Proposals must include:

  1. Application Cover Sheet — Summary of your proposal, not to exceed 300 words (Application Package A1).
  2. Application Narrative — Clear, specific responses to each of the numbered questions, not to exceed 6 pages at 12 point font, single-spaced with one-inch margins (Application Package A2).
  3. Preliminary Project Budget — Not to exceed 1 page, indicating sources and uses of funds and in-kind match. See Budget Guidelines in the Application Package for more information (Application Package A3).
  4. Community Network Analysis Exercise — Completed exercise (Application Package A4).
  5. Letters of Support — From municipal leadership, local Planning Commission and community/regional partners including youth organizations. Letters must address the organizations’ role in the project and any commitments of time or resources.

Optional materials that may be attached separately:

  1. Map or visual of your city/town, which identifies key community assets.
  2. A video/multimedia story (4-minute maximum) that expresses your community’s story or relevant project background.
