This slideshow features ten Vermont artists who were selected for the Art of Action project—an initiative conceived by philanthropist Lyman Orton, Janice Izzi and the Vermont Arts Council, and supported by the Vermont Folklife Center and the Orton Family Foundation, among many others. Through the project, the artists and the art they create become a vehicle and a catalyst for discussing and shaping the future of Vermont.
