Bringing Values into Decision-Making

Wednesday, June 1, 2011, 1:00-2:00 p.m., EDT.

How do you translate community values into decisions and actions? Once a community identifies its values, it must then put those values to work.

On this call, we’ll discuss why it’s important to use community values to drive decision-making and we’ll explore tools and processes for making that happen. We’ll hear from Doug Walker of Placeways, LLC about values mapping, CommunityViz and other tools, and Steve Glueck from Golden, Colorado about how the City is using values to inform decision-making.
