Storytelling and Identifying Community Values

Wednesday, May 18, 2011, 1:00-2:00 p.m., EDT

Once you know who’s in your community, find out what they care about.

Storytelling, community dialogue, art making, and a range of other tools can help discover what makes your community special, tap in to a shared vision, and most importantly, build bridges and trust for the larger planning process. This call will dig into a variety of methods for discovering community values, including examples and lessons from Jane Lafleur’s work with Friends of Midcoast Maine and in Damariscotta, Maine.
